BCFC v FMR Rovers

The first half started with BCFC breaking through after the first 5 minutes when Valentin Kay was given a great through ball from the midfield, going 1V1 with the goal keeper and chipping it over the top to open the scoreline. Play then continued end to end with both teams keen to break through the others defence. With only 2 minutes to the end of the first half FMR Rovers equalised with a well placed goal from Jet Higgins.

The second half replayed just like the first, both teams had chances to increase the score line but couldn't capitalise until Fred Sanderson struck the ball which deflected off a BCFC defender, slotting into the bottom corner for their second goal. BCFC continued to pressure their opponents all the way until the final whistle but couldn't come up with an equaliser. A well contested game overall.
